Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

1: Explain that bitcoins offer a unified system to monitor all transactions involving various accounts, with near instant transactions that are irreversible and the currency itself is divisible down to 8 decimal places if needed.

Sounds like an accountant's wet dream to me Grin
