Wheee! Cheesy

Also thanks for not going the easy way and still renting your own servers.

I guess it's the growing success of this platform which explain the down times. And if Nefario address it in time, this is a very good news, for GLBSE and for bitcoin.

I am starting to wonder if there ever will be a 24 hour
period where I'm going to *not* see one of those:

504 Gateway Time-out
nginx/0.7.67

I see:

GLBSE is under very heavy load
Possibly a DDOS attack, we're not quite sure, please give us some time to deal with it.

Share the load!!!

Oh sure, right after I deposit all my BTC.  I guess the attackers were waiting for Friday morning to roll around when everybody deposits ahead of the auction.

Just a quick post, all GLBSE's funds are offline now (we don't keep much in our hot wallet anyway), so when we come back everything will be accounted for.

We're doing a security review before we bring things back up, we did the same after MtGox was targeted last year.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Nefario.

I'm getting 404's today.
Is it because it's the week-end ?

both us.glbse.com and glbse.com are working for me right now.

No, there was a false alarm on a security issue which caused me to bring the site down, it was down for all of 1 minute. Better safe than sorry.

You have a bug somewhere, Nefario.

If I try to refresh my Portfolio page after my session ends it shows me an "Internal Server Error" page, when what it should do was to send me to the login page, no?

Also, what's the use of the captcha on the login page when you can login perfectly fine with no captcha using the form on the header menu?
