Placebo, can you clean up the old thread's Opening Post a little? Bar the mining pools if you wish, because PoW has ended (if I'm not mistaken, looking at the block height), those dead links confused me and maybe other users too. The old thread is still the first one I encounter when I perform a Google search.
Tell me if that's OK Smiley

@placebo maybe some screen your work on updating the wallet?
before the 13th June would be something? Because crave overtake us. Good it was to release an update before your crave.

Just be patient.

I'd like to code something that performs a 'getaddr' query on a given IP for altcoins, thus providing us with more addnodes in the neighborhood.

Head over to Debug Window>Console

type:

getpeerinfo

..And write down the shown IPs in the 'addr' fields for later. Smiley
Most of the time, each node knows someone nearby.

Coins mature after 24h in its wallet, and when staking, they get available again for spending after 50 confirmations.
25% POS Improves the dumping I thought but it's not all that. Some manipulation maybe going on.
Tell me, why do YOU keep selling your coins? Someone is stacking up, when you look at the distribution on Bittrex.

When ROS gets rockin, theres no stoppin'!

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I've sent a request to Cryptsy to reconsider adding ROS again. ROS was almost added but then there were wallet problems. I notice that someone is really buying a lot of coins, so i think because ROS is a old coin that maybe something nice will happen Cheesy

'Any booze going on?' was a quote from Lady Agatha, the old hag from 'You Rang, M'Lord?', English comedy TV at it's finest.
Beware of Cryptsy, some coins go there to die. You can verify this statement by doing a simple Google search like this:
You were warned Wink

In fact i have been trading on Cryptsy seens the beginning, and they had big problems in the beginning, but at least coins on cryptsy stay on cryptsy, a lot of older coins are worth a lot more then ROS, a lot of older coins don't have any dev. I also heard some negative talks about cryptsy, but i also heard that about Bittrex, everything is based on trust, and if you don't want to sell, keep coins in wallet, always good advice. Smiley

Well at least your coin isn't using the Scrypt algorithm, which is very good for antidumping.
I also saw that the forking done was PPC>NVC>HACK>ROS
And something I thought of for the splitting of a large balance when using Coin Control.. I might code a prog for it, for automation, so we don't get a mouse disease Smiley .. Or, you can make that functionality part of the Qt wallet. If I'd code my prog, you'd have full source, Placebo, for you to recompile.

Keep me posted Smiley
There's still work to do on the website also but I'll do my best in coding my prog for you. I'll make it a nice one in full tiny assembler, machine language. The source code will be yours then, for free. I ain't no beggar.
