You're the mark. This is a zero-sum game, and it needs a steady supply of suckers like you. The Bitcoin world thanks you.

Wow...another great positive-indicator thread.

OP, I hope you didn't buy more than you could afford to lose.  NEVER do that...not even when the "experts" tell you to go all in.

I bought more today.  Loving life.  It was a good day.  Could it go to zero?  I won't starve.  I understand the speculative nature and I didn't over-invest.  Could it go to $2000 by 2020?  If it does, it will return a LOT more than most traditional, legal investments.

BTC is not a zero sum game any more than any other openly traded market is a zero sum game--in other words, not even close.

Contrary to all the FUD being spread around the forum, this is an unexpectedly extraordinary event in the bitcoin world. But then again, there are so many things happening around the world that could affect bitcoin prices. To those who understand the true value of bitcoin, this is definitely the best time to accumulate bitcoins. In fact I hope it can go cheaper still. Like it or not, cryptos are here to stay, and bitcoin will always be at the forefront if not the only one. If you can hold and forget about bitcoin for a few years, you will be happy to see your bitcoin increasing in value. If you sell now, you may regret your decision.

Sincerely,

Some guy on the internet

The problem is everyone is crying like a baby when they could not have a chance to buy cheap coins. Now when cheap coins are available, everyone wants to bitch and complain about the downward trend.

Trends go up and down and never ever follow one direction. Just wait for some bad news to arrive into the good economy and further adoption and that should bring the prices back up. The important thing is when the price does go up and the overall trend turns positive, it will take off and leave all the whining bitches behind.

Never listen to bulltards or cultists. Bitcoin is now finding its true price, which is somewhere below $10.

But it'll probably take several weeks to get all the way down there.
Wow, that is a prediction. Good luck with that one.

One word. Patience.

You did buy at an importuned time, but you didn't buy at a loss until you sell.

I would just hold, and buy more now to bring your dollar cost average down. Just don't sell at a loss!!!!

That's why the good old timers say "don't invest what you can't afford to lose". This is because if you came in for a quick buck you have be very good or very lucky. The ones who have patience have never lost profit wise.

Expert opinion: You are gambling; nobody knows exactly what is gonna happen.

Addendum: "exocytosis" etc also come under the "cultist" heading.

I bought more today.  Loving life.  It was a good day.  Could it go to zero?  I won't starve.  I understand the speculative nature and I didn't over-invest.  Could it go to $2000 by 2020?  If it does, it will return a LOT more than most traditional, legal investments.

What if it goes to $100? It's not easy to catch a falling knife.

Indeed...and this has all the hallmarks of Falling Knife City.  I bought more yesterday, but it's not like I cleared my Roth IRA to do it.  I know I won't likely catch the very bottom, and that is OK with me.

The question is not "Will it go lower than it is right now?" but rather "Will it go higher?"  My guess is that the answer to both questions is "yes".  I'll buy as low as I can and sell (or spend) higher.

Just sell. Obviously something is wrong behind the scenes and whales are getting out.

Actually quite the opposite is true... the top 500 addresses have been accumulating the entire time.
