It happened, someone threw around 10 000 BTC in 15 minutes at bitstamp and the price got under 300...
will the bitcoin world end :-)? I was watching it, thinking about selling half of my BTCs around 295, but it got terrible really quickly :-)...

what will happen next? should i sell my BTCs now (half of them) and buy them back lower? (around 250?)

Or is someone trying to manipulate the market? Who would throw 10 000 BTC in 15 minutes like nothing...

I personally think that the price of Bitcoin will drop a bit more but eventually go up and even out at about $400/coin, for now. A lot of people are planning to buy when it hits ~$250-280 per coin from what I've heard.

The reason a bitcoin's value has been going down steadily over the past month or two is because of merchant adoption. With the exception of overstock, everyone else (dell etc) gets bitcoin then immediately sells it, creating a downward trend.
