If you have not read this book I highly recommend it. It is a story of how
revolutionary [market] anarchists (I know I know, don't laugh) undermine and destroy the fiat currency system by using gold for a currency. I think in a modern context (it was written in 1979) bitcoin can be seen in the same light.

Robert A. Heinlein's work such as The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
