Can we cut that down to a reasonable level? Huh  And I can't post a image?

When you are new, I think it told me to wait 360 seconds to post and to do about anything. I don't know when does that end but I don't suffer from that anymore. Luckly because its a pain in the ass.

Search is limited as per activity to control abuse.

There is no restriction in posting an image. You have given a web page URL instead of web URL. Hence it is not coming. Below is the correct one...

it will go down when your rank updates. It is to reduce spamming. You can't post image because it isn't bbcode. For imgur.com , it is i.imgur.com , you can see the link near to the pic as heading bbcode link. I hope you understand. Smiley

It will decrease when your rank updates. You can see ranks and timings in Meta board. Smiley

Google search is much more effective anyway. Just include "site:bitcointalk.org" among your search terms.

That's because of your rank, as you grows up the limitations are gona lift up. But If you can't use the search here do the google search with that syntax (BFL site:bitcointalk.org). That's more helpful to be than the site search here.

You can also use google search in this gorum by clicking the search icon or you click https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search;advanced . You can find other options and with that you can find google search bar(don't use the parameter). Smiley

Thanks for the replies.  It was quite frustrating since I did a search and it had a simple typo, so I went to fix it and this resulted.
Yes, after posting this I went to google, ended up on another site Smiley

Edit: well I just logged in today.  Tried a search - got the same result You are searching too quickly.
24 hours should be long enough waiting for any search.
This is broken.

Its not 24 hours, you will have to surf through bitcointalk in order to remove that message. Juct closing and coming after sometime won't work, maybe instead of that don't close, keep Bitcointalk open and come after sometime may work.

P.S. Instead of just putting it open, it will be good if you read sticky topics, it will give you some ideas on posting, rules etc...
