Hey guys,

I'm new to BAMT and Bitcoin mining. Can someone explain to me how to configure the file? Can I just put the url in the config file? If so, how can I determine my url.

"To connect to a pool such as Slush's using [Phoenix] miner and Phateus's phatk2 kernel, you would use a command line such as:phoenix -u http://USERNAME.WORKERNAME:PASSWORD@api2.bitcoin.cz:8332/ -k phatk2 DEVICE=0 VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=4"

The difference with BAMT is that you specify the miner, kernel, and flags in the config file, and just the url bit in the pool file. So, in the pool file you want:

http://USERNAME.WORKERNAME:PASSWORD@api2.bitcoin.cz:8332/

This is just for Phoenix, but I assume that for other miners the syntax of the standard miner command is similarly split up between the two config files.

What I'm not sure about with BAMT is whether there is any way to assign a separate worker to each GPU. Right now, I have all my GPUs running under the same workername.

I think you can assign each GPU a worker/pool in the GPU config file.  By default it looks to just point to the pool config file.

Yes, I think I see how you do it now - just make a different pool file for each GPU and point each to the desired file in GPU config. That's pretty obvious, but it didn't occur to me to make separate pool files at first. Thanks.
