About the only thing that one can draw from BTC price experience is that it will definitely NOT stay in a range of 250-350 over a period of years!

It is widely believed that bitcoin price was manipulated by mtgox, by a bot, which was buying with not existent money, taking advantage of the fact, that most of mt gox real investors did not take their money of out the exchanges or went in again at pumped price.
