Hmm, there seems indeed to be some confusion with the addresses the wallets generate..

My linux wallet generates addresses starting with "A..."

Users I see try adding addresses starting with "V...." which my wallet rejects

Which one is correct ?

Yup, would be better if they were "V" from the beginning but it seems everything is ok after you have updated github and I'm finished recompiling.. We'll see as soon as the blocks have matured.

BTW: just a cosmetic thing, but for example here:
https://github.com/voxpopulidev/voxpopulicoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L47

The comment is wrong.. Its 40 not 20.. I personally remove comments or fix them if they're wrong Smiley

EDIT: Payouts are running fine - everything is cool. Thanks

block synching is real slow.
stalled twice, going again after wallet closed and reopen (not sure whether closing and reopening is really a solution, but it does seem work).

anyone has this problem?

Yep - I had it a lot during the 0 block reward, and it hasn't really improved since mining began, which I had hoped it would. I have to close and re-open it a few times if I get behind.

Hi everyone!

I'm releasing the ICO investments to the developer. The VoxP was distributed to the investors and the wallets are stable.

Burn info

The wallet was sunk with the network via a virtual machine, the premine was then sent to VPzXwx6ZwZTyyG1KrPA2JDdVMYEDFsxrGg and the VM was destroyed.

Escrow release breakdown
Total invested: 3.9532BTC

3.9532*.03 = 0.118596 (3% fee)
The developer has graciously given me a 0.131404 tip on top of this fee to make it an even 0.25BTC

3.9532 - .25

Total Bitcoin released to the developer: 3.7032BTC
Escrow Release Address: 16KmfgiJz9qPXdDkjHPZHqf9hFsniBuDWG
TX Hash: c1c15c6a576b3eb250687282cfad112cb2ad7ad93fca104679d8241fddf4f3a5

If you like how I handled the escrow for the VoxP ICO please leave feedback on the Official Devscrow thread.

Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks

Here's the escrow agreement for the Voxp ICO.

The official escrow address is 13zENX3ff5WrhFKC5rgpBT4xijCV8Ej6Eo

The held investments will only be released to the developer, "voxpopuli" after the Voxp has been distributed, and there's an overall stability of the wallets, and blockchain.

If any issues arise with the distribution I will provide mediation and release the Bitcoin to the party with the most compelling evidence.

The Public Google Docs spreadsheet will be managed by the developer. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LYsZGOM0sggTWTdJ_ur4mLlgjs0OzeT09YuDGPB6X-Y

I'm excited to work with each of you!

** Please do not send investments from a shared wallet, if there's an issue with the distribution it makes it harder to process refunds

Thanks!
