Yep - I had it a lot during the 0 block reward, and it hasn't really improved since mining began, which I had hoped it would. I have to close and re-open it a few times if I get behind.

The qt wallet seems to get stuck every now and then and require a restart to sync back up.  For me it is just a minor annoyance, but if the daemon is doing the same thing it's gotta be a bitch for the pools and exchanges.

I suggest for those who runs daemons to check their debug.log  if there's a lot of refused connections, to add rpcallowip=* to their config file , that will help the network

True, they really need to do something about the amount of scams that are posted here on btct. It's a shame that they allow this to happen. Actually I asked the developer by PM about a week ago and he's posted since then without replying. Such a douche for hoping to get a wallet up and running. Even if that was the case how hard is it to say, "with family, I'll get back to you next week"?
