Hello everyone, Today the pimp team is proud to release our latest efforts to make mining easy and profitable.
PiMP 1.6.0 (32bit) and 1.7.0 (64 bit) are now available in all three relevant driver flavors (13.12, 14.6, 14.9). Note that right now 14.6 provides the best performance on MOST algorithms and should be your goto installation, 13.12 is primarily for Scrypt / Scrypt-N GPU Miners, and 14.9 isn't optimized right now, so hashing is lower than on 14.6.The big news is: True 64 bit is back, its still got the black screen bug that AMD really needs to fix. Claymores XMR miner is included in the /root folder, the xmr miner does not have a PM Profile due to not being based on cgminer or having an API, however work is in progress to provide a basic monitoring and auto start for this miner. for now you can use it / test it by stopping mining from pool manager, ssh into the rig and do the following:
cd /root/claymore-xmr-miner && screen -S claymore ./miner -o stratum+tcp://xmr-eu.dwarfpool.com:8050 -u MYMONEROADDRESS -p x -tt 75
NOTE: The XMR miner is available in 64 bit versions only. 64 bit will NOT work on every rig. it is up to you to figure out how to deal with the black screen issue should you have it, swapping card pcie position / removing cards is the only known remedy. GPU Compatibility for 32 bit is unchanged.
