You will need $100k/btc to be a millionaire and I reckon that it has a pretty good chance to reach that number within 10 years, maybe less

To the OP, how fast you become a bitcoin millionaire really depends on HOW MANY (er, how much) you bought.  Not what you paid per coin.  

Also, stop thinking in terms of whole coins.  Start thinking in amounts.  Like, "Right now I own $3380 worth of bitcoin."  Or "I own 10/21 millionth the entire amount of bitcoin there will ever be."

I think we could hit $100,000 USD (in today's value) per BTC before the ball drops on 2019.  Someone want to quote me? 
I'm not sure if we'll hit a million, but the honey badger is definitely going to give the moon a shot (and maybe fly right by).  If that goes down, I'd say it could happen in less than 7-8 years.  And I think I'm being conservative with both of my projections.

After a few years you only after to state which year you bought.

For example today saying "I bought 10btc in 2011 (or '10 or '12)" is close enough to ballpark your gains.

In 2020 you'll simply say "I bought 10btc in 2014" and everyone will say how lucky you are.

If you believed that the price will rise, buy more and one day you will be millionaire. But if you didn't, just forget your 10 btc, and time will give you the answer.

As long as products aren't all priced in BTC your analogies are fun but useless.

- When BitTorrent started you couldn't find all movies there so you had to buy movies at Amazon.
- When Henry Ford made the automobile the roads were crap and the mileage too so you could go farther with a horse.
- When the Wright brothers took off they could fly for seconds. Let alone intercontinental flight. We still don't fly every day.

Looking at more recent inventions like the electric car. It's a great invention and the technology and infrastructure is now available making it usable.

As long as the infrastructure isn't big enough, Bitcoin will not be the major payment system.
Don't take me wrong we will get there but it will take quite a long time .
