bitcoin is going nowhere but up, for the following reasons:

old:
bitcoin will lift the unbanked of the third world from poverty
allows for remittance for poor immigrant workers with no middle man
consumers can rest easy knowing their money is safe from hackers, unlike credit card users at target, home depot, etc

new:
next halving will cause more demand for limited supply
billions of dollars of VC being invested every month
stock market plunging, world wide economic collapse seems imminent. people of the world will use bitcoin as a hedge.

according to my latest calculations, we are now at the "hope" stage, moon ship will come soon.

better listen and buy bitcoin, you have been warned since $275!

I agree. With mass adoption now beginning, and the major asset managers pouring billions into btc funds and vc, 25k usd/btc is guaranteed by Q1 2015. Now is the time to put everything into coin.

tree-fiddy? ... I'm still firmly depressed!

Are you serious?  This is the most pathetic low volume rally I've ever seen.  It pretty much hit the previous all time high of 266 and there is not much of a rally.  GTFO.

Venezuelans are using bitcoin to bypass socialist currency controls! the world is finding out about bitcoin, what we've seen until now is the beta, 2015 will be the final product!

cut your fiat looses and convert to bitcoin before it's too late! you have been warned since $275!

Where exactly are these billions of VC dollars being invested into every month? I doubt bitcoin would do me much good in the face of an economic collapse unless it was already widely accepted for transactions.

If the number of addresses is any guide then yes. On a more anecdotal level I know several people who are now involved in BTC who were not involved prior to March.

It's is of no statistical value but I've already had 2 people in my social circle and a collegue at work inquiring about buying bitcoin the last week. They've first heard about it little over a year ago and are starting to look into buying at these prices. Keep a close eye on google trends, it seems like the interest is starting to rise again.
