there was no major news for the downfall to below 300. Now there is also no news for the upswing. Typically it is whales playing the market and people who panic to follow the trend.

I am not an expert, but we have been in a downtrend for the whole year after the november bubble. Too many people had bought unprofitable mining gear and are selling at any price, leading to an overall panic. The price got too low for a few weeks and now we're adjusting back to a less emotional price, probably around 500 for a while. But it's very important for you to realise that bitcoin is VERY VOLATILE so don't invest more than you are comfortable losing, and enjoy the ride. Anyone who tells you they know what will happen to the price is lying. Falling made a good call around $600, but if you always predict the market will fall, sometimes you will be right just by luck.

The price has seen the bottom. We are in for a long uptrend. It is likely rising faster than it should so do not be surprised if it goes back to around $320. But we are also in a prime place for some good news to spark a huge rally like it did last year, however unfounded the news might be.

The price drops when more people are selling.

Actually we are only up from 300 because of short covering... They now have new positions high up near 390 (which is why we fell under 350 so quick today)
So now we are due for another correction! Watch out below as we test the bottom... Could be a double bottom or could be a new low for the year! Time will tell. Point is LTC is done, bringing it up when we talk about bitcoin just makes our entire community look like a bunc of scamming gamblers!!
