How the fuck do you people keep managing to lose such large amounts of money and still have internet access?
Gambling is habit. Once you get used to it, then you will be difficult to get rid of it until you lose everything. OP, you should learn this hard lesson!

I gamble on sports games as a form of entertainment. I know the risk and I know the reward. Sometimes im hot and winning big money sometimes im cold and losing. At the end of the day it provides me hours of entertainment. Its really the only hobby I have found where I can win a couple grand in a week. If you gambling and you don't even enjoy it then you need to stop cause that's when you have a major problem. Well that and if you gamble your mortgage money like a moron....

MUST stop gambling. Ten bets will lose nine. Many people dissipate one's fortune because of gambling I hope you can have a new life from now!

I was never a fan of gambling because I have seen the suffering and pain of people who lost all of their hard earned money.

If you have to gamble, take up poker.
A game of skill with no house edge. Read some books, play low stakes and you can actually make money consistently.

+1 better gamble money in playing skill games such as poker, bridge, etc

Google matched betting. It should be quite trivial to earn back $600.

If you have to gamble, take up venture capital or a business startup project. At least you will be creating jobs, learning , and improving the marketplace.
Are there any gambling sites that are 100% nonprofit where all the profits are directed at charities in the Bitcoin space?

This can be said of any addiction. I've only ever gambled a few times in my life but I realize how destructive it can be. When you win it's such a high, but when you lose it's an even bigger low and your first instinct is to try win the money back and this is how the problem starts. It's very hard to know when to quit, but the best option would be to not gamble at all.

They will both lead you to losing money imo... Probably. I don't think I've ever heard of an actual success story where a gambling addict turns his life around by playing poker. I'd guess there's a selection bias among people who choose to play poker where they're probably much less likely to be addicts. Poker takes a long time to play through in most instances, especially if there's an initial buy-in and last man standing takes all (well, unless you do something really dumb, I guess) -- with a large table, you can still have high stakes and a relatively low buy-in. $20 can last you a couple hours and still feel engaging, no problem. ETA: OTOH, poker tends to punish greed, so... maybe.

I wouldn't recommend playing Poker if you are really struggling to stop playing. You can get addicted to Poker too.
Although I do agree Poker is also a game of skill, but imo that applies mostly for real life poker and not online.
