Happened to my former husband.

He committed suicide last month. He stole money from our son, from me, other people, made up shit where he worked to get additional compensation...cops were after him for something...was 27k in debt just what he owed me.

So if you're taking risks with money you need or that you provide for anyone else, especially kids...just consider the ultimate price you pay for stupid decisions. Your life doesn't suck by any means...unless you destroy other people in the process.

Just FYI PSA  Cry

ETA for irony purposes - in June I sent him $25 worth of bitcoin to introduce him to it. After his passing I had to go through his stuff and found the wallet info he set up for block chain and just sent it back to myself so it wasn't gone forever.

At the end of the day, the only final income received from him out of everything turned out to be bitcoin.

You say "anti government" like that's a bad thing...

On a lighter note, the next time you feel the urge to part with your bitcoin, please send it here:

I may or may not share the uptake with you...your bitcoin is going somewhere worthy and your gambling itch is scratched. Win/win.

You need to understand that over the long run you will not win. You also need to understand is that if you are deep in a hole your chances are even greater for failure as you need to beat the odds just to break even

So sorry to hear of your loss, but please don't "hate [your] life" ! Man, we all do things we regret. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and say "I'm moving forward!". Forget the past, just don't repeat the same mistake. I understand that you feel bad. But one mistake does not define you. Move forward!

Gambling is always fixed even if a site can be demonstrated to be provably fair.  The reason is that it is very likely that after winning that you will bet again.  And nobody wins a million times in a row.

I would bet fifty dollars on the Cubs winning the World Series next year before I would place a fifty dollar bet equivalent in BTC on any website.

Condolences to the hard stories in this thread.

Gambling can be a very bad addicition, my mother was/is addicted to the pokies and has lost heaps, probably why i dont gamble.
I just hope most of these gamblers were already gambling before bitcoin, i'd hate to find out that bitcoin gambling alone has ruined peoples lives.
All this gambling can't be that good for bitcoins reputation.

u should do sports gambling instead when u feel the itch to  toss it up. it takes longer for the outcome , dont bet too much and just treated it like ur goin out to watch an movie. u win great , u lose  ,it was just entertainment, its easyer  to move on and not chase.
