Hi, I am looking for a 1366 processor for my mining rig. I can pay in bitcoin. I dont need anything fancy, just something to put in to get the system running to mine.

Let me know if you have anything, I am more than interested.

Check Ebay.

I buy LGA1366 Quad Core Xeons usually for under $100....and they are getting cheaper every day.
I currently own 14, all engineering samples and never a problem. I prefer to mine using my I7 boards over cheap AMD crap.

Here's a good example of a cheap low power dual core:

Yeah seems like thats a good option, but the thing is, I don't want to get a nice processor to be wasted on a rig. Now if this were for a personal computer, that would be a good option.

Engineering Sample Xeons are the cheapest LGA1366 CPUs on the planet....it doesn't get any cheaper. See my link above.

Heads Up: 'Jasper Forest' Xeons WILL NOT work on an X58 Motherboard (even though they are 1366).
They require a proprietary server-only chipset and are built for embedded aplications. STAY AWAY from them.

Happy shopping.
