I think you should rent a server. The main feature of a trading machine should be, that's it's online 24/7, so it can react to any trends immediately.

The SSD is nice for a server that needs high IOPS, or if you handle many small files, like the booting of windows. It's not needed for every day use. You're better of putting 2 drives in raid1 (2x1tb=1tb) or of you want less space lost, 3 drives in raid 5 (3tb = 2tb). If one drive fails, simply replace the failed drive at no data loss.
The 2 79xx cards are an aboslute overkill, unless you want to play the latest FPS or use them in mining.

edit: I connected a 40" full HD tv to my pc. You can keep multiple windows open, without things getting tiny. You don't have to look at the bezels of the 6 monitors and 1 40" tv or even 2, are cheaper or same as 6 monitors

Why would use need dual 79xx?   A single low end card would be fine.  Not even sure why it is included there.

No need for plenty of fans, high end graphics cards, or powerful CPU.  Mid tower case, decent cpu, low end GPU, 4-8GB of RAM and save the rest of your money for monitors and custom monitor stands.  SSD isn't really necessary but is nice for making the system more responsive (especially under windows).

Pixels is what matters.  Of course it is cheaper.  It is at most 1920x1080 pixels.   6 1920x1200 monitors would have roughly 7 the pixel realestate.  Still 6 monitors is likely overkill.  A pair of 1920x1200 monitors or a single 2560x1600 is a good setup.

Also is there some issue with a 2x8 gb RAM setup? For some reason AVA direct doesn't allow this option.

SSD's are worth it.  One of the best upgrades on a modern computer, IMO.  It makes the whole computer just feel incredibly snappy.

Also, you're missing the point if you think a 40" TV would fit the needs of a stock trader.  Pixels are the important factor, not how large the screen is.

I would go with multiple monitors - you can get a cheap USB box and attach many of them easily to a single computer. No expensive 3D cards are necessary since charts don't take a lot of crunching power - unless you're using HLSL to do real-time analysis or something like that.
