HI I just bought an Ati Sapphire HD 5850.
The thing is that when mining (with guiminer) it only gives me an average of 200 Mhash/s.
It's on standard settings I haven't changed anything.
So what should I change to optimize the hashrate and should I use another mining software instead of guiminer?

You can check your Catalyst manager and set the overdrive clocks for your GPU there.
Many windows miners are using MSI Afterburner to control the GPU settings.

Most of the miners i saw on forums are using around 900MHz for GPU clock and 300MHz memory clock settings to reach ~360MHash/s, while setting fans to keep temperature levels up to ~75C. I'm not sure about voltages your card is set.

I've never used GUIminer, so can't help you there, I'm on phoenix/cgminer/BAMT/Linux bandwagon.

My Sapphire 5850 and 5850 eXtreme are all set to 900MHz-300MHz-1.088v and mine stable at 350-370MHash/s.

You'll have some fun while setting your system, but I believe you'll make it work properly.

Try overclocking. Will significantly increase your mhash.

I found out that my Sapphire 5850 work faster with -v -w64 flag as with the -v -w128
Everywhere I search, they always put -w128
Anyone has the same experience?
