[ANN] - Bitcoin Watcher - New minimal BTC price tracker for Android

Hi all.

Since I've spent a lot of time in the Bitcoin community I've decided to make my own small contribution to the ecosystem.

I've created in my free time a minimal BTC price tracker using Googles Material design(Android L) guidelines.

Hope you like it and if it gets some downloads I will add more features.

Right now I'm developing a notification/widget system for it.

Just my 2 cents....

Installed and must say that it does look good. I like the clean design. I currently make use of Bitcoin Checker to keep an eye on the price and find it much more useful.

Main reason being as its right there on one of my home screens as a widget. All I need to do is swipe the screen to the left and I have all the information I need i.e. BTC, LTC, DGE etc.. and a quick swipte to the right and I'm back on my home screen. With your app I have to dive into one of the folders and open the app, wait for the update and then close it again.

As said, nice and I guess you will be adding more features which might make it more useful but in so far as price checkers go, to much effort for a quick view.

I am working on adding Widgets and notifications.
Any preference on the background update of the widget ? (1min, 5min, 10, 30, 1h etc. ) ?

Other possible features would be:

a) calculator
b) some kind of wallet integration
3) changing the color of the card

BTW if you need more currencies please leave a comment. I can add as many as necessary.

Don't forget to update the app since I've fixed some bugs etc.

Really like this app. Like others have said a widget would make it perfect. I live in the good 'ol north, so CAD support would be nice.

Any donation is helpful since the app is free and will never have ads.

Will add CAD support tonight and release the update on Play Store.

I've just pushed a new update to Play Store. Should be available in a few hours.

I've added price notifications. Right now the default refresh rate is every hour.
I plan on adding new features to these notifications.

What would you guys like ? Notification when price is >=, <=,  than a defined value ?
Also a lower refresh rate than 1h ?

Widgets are also coming.
