At least so I've heard. Borrowed money, ended up losing all.

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

I don't know any big fish. But I know a lot of little ones in way over their heads

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

Actually, "BTCUSD" is different to "BTC" term. Masses of people got burned by BTCUSD rate.

They may be slow to pay back borrowed money, but no one has actually "lost it all" unless they are really horrible traders.

Ha, we always here about the "i got rich" stories but rarely the "i lost it all" stories. Thanks for sharing these. I don't know anyone that's gotten burned by BTC but I have to think a lot of people that were buying BTC at this time last year are feeling a bit burned today, even if they haven't sold out yet.
