Hello All,

I am looking for a secure, stable, light and easy to use Linux version for Crypto related activities: wallets, surfing, mining etc... Could you please help me chose between Debian and Ubuntu Desktop, and maybe other options of your liking?

If you have the time to spend configuring you could always go with Arch Linux.

Otherwise Ubuntu/Linux Mint are pretty good.

Not sure about Ubuntu (haven't used it in a while) but Linux Mint has an option to encrypt your home partition in the installation process that's very straight forward.

I prefer Red Hat distributions like Fedora and CentOS because that's what I work on all the time, but any Linux distro should work.  Just encrypt your partitions and if you are running a Red Hat clone, you can also enable SE Linux.
