In my opinion it is down to the first two options: getting both merchants and more people involved. The more we get of either the bigger bitcoin and it's worth will get. These things will come with time, so just keep doing your part and spreading the word.

Adoption by merchants is the key. Many people are already getting involved and more so will once they see companies accepting them and the benefits of doing so.

merchants & trust+security.

if you fix the trust and ease of storing bitcoins, and add merchants in every neighbourhood, so people can by bread, baked beans and toilet paper. then the 'mass adoption' which comes later, will happen naturally.

anyone suggesting mass adoption now is a mindless drone that only thinks about a quick pump to then run back to FIAT.

so if all you bitcoiners have a local independent grocer (not part of a national brand). then get them to accept bitcoin. remember its your town so YOU need to help what happens in your own town.

let the coders innovate new and better wallet solutions, while you do your own part and get your town bitcoin friendly.

How can you help?

You can help by offering your services in Bitcoin and always ask if you can pay in Bitcoin.

there is no bitcoin company.. YOU are bitcoin as much as anyone else.

we need everyone to do a little bit of something and not just sit on their hands and wait for others to do it for them

Do you really need a hardcore programmer for this? Or can a newbie programmer do this?

I didn't vote, but all those points are important BEFORE you get adoption by the masses

and by masses I don't think we need like 50% of the planet
5% would be amazing

I am Bonkers BTW

Options 1 and 2 are interrelated.
Higher merchant adoption will get the masses interested and vice versa.
