Had not fired up my cloak wallet in about one year. Downloaded the new wallet and synced it yesterday, unlocked it for staking this morning and damn, I'm getting some fat stakes! 60 80+ cloaks already today!

Beware Cloakers!
The exchange cryptsy seems to go just busto.
User Accounts which withdraw want to be arbitrarily blocked.

Edit:

Cryptsy's response:

RE: Coinfire
I feel I need to give a response to the recent Coinfire article.   Like their previous article, they’ve make a lot of claims without giving any kind of proof to their claims.   I know many people don’t take coinfire very seriously these days, which is good.   However there are some out there that may not really know that the kind of “News” these guys produce is not always reliable.
We have never been investigated for anything, period.  We have never gotten any letters from any of the agencies that they have stated in their article, nor have we been contacted via phone or any other method.  It’s safe to say that this article and their reporting are completely false.   My guess is that whomever wrote this article has personal reasons for writing it and are attempting to hurt our business and reputation.
We will be reviewing our legal options against this libelous article.

Paul Vernon
“BigVern”

I must say that after reading the Coinfire article, I have to go with Paul's statement. Coinfire provides no real sources and sites text full of blackouts from unknown sources. VERY unprofessional, looks like a smear campaign. Just my take on it...

I sold off a few I had on the exchange a couple months back, to offset my losses, (I was buying cloak from 30K sat up to 200K sat) but plan on holding/staking what I have left.

Should the wallet always be running for minting? Or is it enough, to unlock the wallet once and then close it?

Another question. Is there any difference between staking from a single tx and staking with same amount divided in many txs?

Hallo mein Freund .)

1. You dont need to run Walet all the time for staking, its enought if you open it one time a week or month you will get then more cloaks at same time.
2. There is no difference between staking 1 Input or multi at same time BUT its simpler if u have one Input look for howto on forum:
http://forum.cloakcoin.com/topic/89/minting-staken-with-more-weight

Bitte sehr!

Thanks! Another question Smiley
How is the network weight calculated? When minting through the wallet, it seems that the network weight and the correlated personal weight remain static. In my understanding the two numbers should be more variating, so my guess is that the weight is calculated once when starting minting and then does not get updated.

Is there any way to display the real weight through command line? Or at least can anyone post the formula?
