Hi,
I'm a newbie miner, running 2 rigs totalling 2.5 GH/s. I'm running BAMT and loving it.
However, I noticed BAMT 0.5c still includes Phoenix 2.0 RC2 while the final version is out already.
-- Is there any reason for it?
-- Is there a simple way of upgrading it to final version?
-- I know how to install Phoenix 2 in Linux; however, would I need to build it in an i386 distro with AMD APP SDK 2.4, same as is included in BAMT? Would version of other Python modules matter (numpy etc.)? I'm not too familiar with Python and its bytecode...
-- Would it then be as simple as copying the build dir to /opt/miners?

Cheers!
Pete

OK, to answer my own question...
All that needs to be done is a tarball of phoenix2 extracted to /opt/miners and directory renamed to phoenix2. Done.
And I installed a new i386 Debian 6.0 vm with all phoenix dependencies... Smiley Anyway, nice exercise.
