ah I see...
but someone from a dice site told me that the admin is watching the bets and when you get too much profit, the admin will make it so that you lose all of your balance.. is that even possible?
Of course it is... sadly. Thats why gambling is not good at all because "bank" always will win. In more "fair" way or not fair way. No matter.

rigged means the results are predetermined/determined

Well then all bitcoin sites are "rigged" as the results are (pre-)determined by both your client seed and the site's server seed in all provably fair sites.

Dooglus has explained this a number of times.  I recommend if you are interested in learning to go read the old Just-dice.com posts.

I would say a site is rigged if the house edge is greater than what is advertised / disclosed.

Take Dicebitco.in for example. It was caught skipping winning bets. In this way, the house edge ended up a lot higher than the advertised 1%

After it got caught, the owner started betting himself through an alias winning everything and clearing out the investor's money.

Wow thats just gotta suck.

I heard about that incident. What do you think about my comment above on primedice. I mean I saw that guy lost so much.

Very likely a random incident. Its quite possible.

Primedice is well known and has a lot of traffic. They have more to lose if they try anything and get caught.

it means they win 100% or most of the time.

Similar to a ponzi scheme.

This is pretty much it. However it is somewhat more complicated then this.

A casino will generally be considered to be rigged if a bet that should have won, for whatever reason does not pay out as a winning bet. This is actually somewhat common for even reputable casinnos however when it is discovered by the site operators they will reimburse players who should have won

It's software and can be manipulated.

Casino's has to win, to stay in business. They give back, just enough for you to come back for more.

Ever wondered, why there are so many cameras in a casino? If you think it's only to catch cheaters, you will be wrong. ^Evil Grin^

That's why I prefer bitcoin gambling (of course I am talking about trusted provably fair sites) to Vegas.
With a good implementation of PF, the site cannot control the bet result completely and the gamblers will easily know when the site is cheating.
