So yesterday I moved 0.0606 BTC from my online wallet to my desktop wallet, but it has been 19 hours an not a single confirmation yet!

Here is the info: https://blockchain.info/tx/9381fa35b67a0d07a20585e3b7e06a252935596d0b7f03877a91e03bec31ffa0

Last time I did this it only took like 30 minutes.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you very much! Smiley

Zero-fee transactions depend on the mercy of miners. If no one wants to include your transaction in a block, you can't do much about it.
I don't know the rules by heart, but in general a transaction should have either some miner fee, or it should consist of "old" coins, to be included preferentially. Your transaction has neither, so you'll have to wait and hope.

chill, a 30 minute bump is not needed.

The Input is neither old (~1 day), nor big (0.0606), so this will take some time without a fee.

see here for more: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees#Technical_info

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

The coins you sent had only just arrived in 1G7RfGQvRnfpyVnfrVhSowzWWXLKawx2fZ for less than an hour, and you tried to send them without a fee? You should have waited at least 3 weeks before you can send them for free.

Here's an oldie-but-goodie bitcoin wiki entry that explains this in simple mathematical terms:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

As you can see, the transaction has been confirmed.
"wait and hope" worked as expected. Just don't be impatient if you send without a fee...

OP and all who have same problem should read and search about their problem first before make a new thread like this.
There is some threads already talk about this topic.
And i wonder why some people never want to pay miner fee for their transaction

I've never paid so much as a satoshi in fees for transactions.  Why pay for something if you don't have to?

It' your choice. You can send 0 fee tx but if the tx didn't meet the requirements, it may be dropped out. So for some people, they like to get confirmations fast and be sure, it will reach the receiver rather than dropping it. Smiley

You got away with stealing someone else's work because they didn't put in theft protection yet. Don't expect to get away with it forever.

It depends on the pool's policy, if they decide to discard transaction with no fees, your transaction will not be confirmed. The older and bigger amount your coins is, the more priority the transaction gets. I used to do this all the time but it does take a lot of time to do so. Usually, I see Bitminter confirming my unconfirmed no fee transaction. I guess their fee policy isn't strict.

OR they are using old version of Bitcoin-qt/bitcoind.

No, that's BS.  I'll pay when I'm required to.  I won't pay for things that are offered for free.  I'm principled that way.
As long as my transaction meets the calculated requirements in the wiki I posted earlier I can safely do it with no fee.

Like stevegee58 said, you should meet the requirements. Otherwise, it will take a long time or even drop out.

I'm waiting now for more than three weeks to get my first BTC-transaction confirmed.
Using a desktop client (with bitcoin-qt core) I just confirmed the suggested fee of 0.0001 BTC and sent 0.62 BTC from my wallet.
Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the consequences of that fee. Also I didn't know that the fee was obviously too low...

https://blockchain.info/tx/ecdf9dd8ad6646d1775f83f06a836ccf8121c204b34ab3359765921cae214e1a

Of course I'd be willing to pay more fee to get my transaction confirmed.
Does anybody know a service or some miner who would add the transaction into a blockchain for extra payment?
I mean there are many people struggling with this delay caused by low- or no-fee, thus there might be somone who could help for an extra fee...

Your tx was dropped. Resent it with appropriate fee, 0.0002BTC would be enough. Smiley

I see that the transaction is now confirmed. Next time you make a transaction, see to it that you include a tx fee for your transaction to not take longer times before it confirms. Smiley

Why do all the maths when you can include a Tx Fee as low as 10k and it will get your bitcoin to the other side. I always add at-least 10k and up-to 50k based on the priority of my transactions. If I want to them to go fast I add more fee.
