Their site says 1-2 days, but it's been 3 already and nothing arrived. I opened a ticked at support, but no answer yet.

Not to alarm anyone, but have anyone tried this in recent past, and what was a result?

The norm is 3-5 business days and remember that if you send in a request at some obscure hour Japanese time it probably won't be processed until the next day.

I think mine was like 4 days and ended up being $60 in fees (their bank, my bank, and interim bank).  I likely won't do that again.

I mean the whole point of a wire is near instant transfer.  High fees and slow access Huh

Thank CITI for that as most (at one point around 80% not sure on current numbers) SWIFT transfers get routed via them. Westpac in Australia for example wire my bank, Bank of China, directly in 1 business day and at lower fees than most of the other major banks.

Back in the days when they had HSBC in Hong Kong, I have sent them a 100 USD wire from a bank in Poland, and the total cost where:
3.00 USD - my bank
5.40 USD - their bank

8.40 USD total.

No intermediary charges, although it went though The Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) - the only USD intermediary of my bank. BNY Mellon seems to be an intermediary of a lot of banks, did anyone also see them on a list of intermediaries of your bank, and got charged no fees by them on a wire? Or I was just lucky? Or the sum was small?

According to this: https://support.mtgox.com/entries/20490576-withdrawals-and-deposits :

Banking and other payment methods:

* SEPA Euro transfers (WITHIN 1 business day - NO FEE)
* International Wire Transfer in USD (WITHIN 1 to 2 business days - NO FEE)

so, you are saying, this is not true?

The details you're quoting there are for using AurumXchange not for using Mt Gox directly.

Bringing up an old question:

What is the best way to get USD out of Mt.Gox and into a US bank account (or suggestion?)
How long to transfers out from Mt.Gox take to reach your hands / us account?

THANKS!

Thats good to hear.

For $1000 or less what transfer time do you see from Dwolla to a "real" bank in the US.
(One where you can actually go visit / take your money, spend it on stuff etc)

Are we looking at hours there also - or days?

MtGox to DWOLLA (lately) has been hours for me. When there are no problems, which isn't always a case.

DWOLLA will ACH money to your bank - so days after that. if you initiate transfer before noon, ACH has a chance to arrive next morning, and depending on your arrangements with bank, could be spent immediately
