After all it seems that the title should have been: "would you die in Mars?"

so we'll plant the seed of life on another planet? makes me wonder if that's what happened to us.

it's strange to me. life only seems to flourish in complexity and chaos.

"what would you do there? you are just trying end your life."
I'm sure this is exactly what they said to the first explorers that sailed the ocean.

Life is a journey, not a destination. These people are pioneers.

I'd rather die there. But if there's internet connection, shelter, food and water, that's good enough for me.

How about you don't have internet connection, shelter, food and water but there are 1,000 hot girls and you are the only one guy? Grin

And a prescription for Viagra!  Now where is that drug store....

I post for interest - not signature spam.

Mars is beautiful. It looks like a nice desert planet with winds, clouds, and ancient river beds. It’s great. If you’re not made of meat and don’t need to breathe oxygen. Otherwise, it’s incredibly hostile

Why would you die after a few months?

Because, Humans may only survive 68 days on Mars, Oxygen levels would start to deplete after about two months.
