Some time back when bitcoin price was low I was able to generate about 200,000 satoshi in a day but since price rose its nolonger an attractive activity and I think altcoin faucets pay better.
These days are far far away history now.  Grin
I remember I could see the amount earned from faucets dropping day by day during autumn 2016, when the price of Bitcoin rapidly rose from $600 to almost $1200. In September, you could see thousands and hundreds of satoshis per claim and in the end of December, you were lucky to find something above 100 satoshis. Tongue

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Time taken to make 1 BTC (100 000 000 satoshi) claiming from Faucets in 2017

Assumptions: It takes 20 seconds to claim from a faucet
A list of 15 trusted faucets that pay 50 satoshis every 5 minutes has been compiled (20 seconds X 15 = 5 minutes)
50 satoshis is a realistic amount to expect from a faucet these days.
16 hours a day will be spent clicking away. 8 hours for sleep, eating, relaxing etc.

With the above assumptions you can make 9000 satoshi per hour (180 claims @ 50 satoshis) which translates to 144 000 satoshis per 16 hour day (SPD).

100 000 000 / 144 000 SPD = 695 days  Grin Thats around 2 Years.

Good luck !

in this day and age, faucets aren't worth your time. i think GPT sites are the way to go for free bitcoin as you can earn more bitcoin completing tasks than you can just clicking faucets. been using Grindabuck and working towards my first $10 cashout via BTC (only taken me a few hours). everyone currently using faucets should check it out and see how it compares. you also get $1 upon signing up! my referral is in my signature if anyone wants to sign up through it Smiley

Thread opened 2014. In those year faucet pay more than now. In these days faucet just wasting time. I use 3 faucets pay over 200sat per 1 hour. I use them for gambling. If my balance will zero i will use faucet earnings.

Mrai captcha worker better than faucets. Mrai price is high in these days. If u have time dont use it for faucets use it for mrai.

By the way i like calculates. Different users make very smart calculates Smiley

I just see it as a hobby and then all earnings are nice Smiley

In my point of view, faucets can be a waste of time when you have other more profitable thing to do but if you are not occupied with anything then at least you are receiving something and can even be used for some minor expenses if converted to fiat money. And yes, it can just be a hobby on the same level as watching some movies in Youtube.

The horrible thing is, you can only withdraw starting from a certain amount of BTC. If you could make direct withdraws on every faucet, it would at least help them collect on one place to have some sort of motivation on it. But hell, all those nanoBTC's on different sites...it's really demotivating. Already... Cheesy

But on the other side, what if Bitcoins value reaches 5 or 10 times more then it is now...wasn't it stupid then to have stopped now?

I also prove my chance on a dicesite now Smiley

That's why I like to use faucets which pay instantly and work with micropayment services such as Xapo.com and ePay.info. With micropayment services store the satoshis I earned, I don't have to worry about the faucets I use disappear suddenly.

i am currently working on a in-app faucet ( Bitcoin slot machine ) in an Android-App.  The machine is working fine but now i am thinking about the payout rates - there is a Chance Symbol which gives you the Chance to make a bet and get max. 5 times your bet ( but you will have always just 1 time - so you cant loose anything ).

Of course for bringing it out on GooglePlay i need advertisements, and this is my next question : I try to get interstital ads working, or does someone think just banner ads would be better ? I thought about it but i want to keep the screen free from banner ads ......

By the way : It is not a Casino because you cant top up your account for using my slot machine, it is just a faucet where you always get some extra satoshis if you are waiting at the doctors, in the bus .... everywhere else as at home.

I have searched for those sites but couldn't find them. What faucets pay out instantly?

Well, obviously BTC faucets aren't worth your time but are there other faucets with more potential (as in: let's say getting 10 Idontknowcoin which is now 3 sat but has also seen prices like 10 sat and has potential to get back there again or something)?

Do you have an example of this? I don't recall that there are a lot of low sat projects that also have faucets.

The horrible thing on faucets its not even the low sat per round, its the amount of sat you need to have before you can payout. Hate it. But well, perhaps thats just because I am used to doing faucets on BTC. I don't know if there are interesting altcoins.

hi there guys! yea i am pretty much realizing the same i keep on claiming on freebitco.in and then trying to multiply them and always lose.. it is either their 5% edge or the whole thing is rigged but yea i cant agree more with the fact that you're better off working and buying bitcoins with your wage than wasting your time to claim tiny amounts. First post here we go! Smiley

Don't blame the faucet for the Dice losses, if you just claim and keep it in balance or if you claim and gamble only a bit you will make profit instead of losing all your money. Don't forget faucets worth on long term, before we usually claimed 400 satoshis minimum hourly in FreeBitco.in, who stored the satoshis very well made a nice profit.

The same will happen again when BTC hit high prices like $5000-$10.000, the 80 satoshis you claim now every hour will worth a lot! Also, you earn interest if your balance is higher than 30.000 satoshis, make profit this way and not gambling.  Wink

I dont actually have an idea but Im pretty sure that you cant claim a value of 1bitcoin on 7days on faucets. Faucets only gives you around 100satoshi to 1000satoshi per claim. the amount of satoshi you needed to have a total of 1bitcoin is 100million so I think it is really impossible for a single guy to complete a 1bitcoin on just faucets.

Well I'm running a faucet and am aware of the dust problem  Shocked However; we try to combine our faucet with a fun multiplayer browser game and a chat hoping to build a community of cryptocurrency enthusiast that might get their first exposure to to Bitcoin via our faucet. Also we try to discourage our users from accumulating to many inputs...

Hello Everyone,

Have you tried claiming BTC from faucets?

How many BTC can you collect from faucets per day?

What faucets do you use?

Is there a chance to reach 1 BTC at the end of 7 days collecting satoshis?

Please share your experiences and ideas.

Thank You
I DID see a address on faucetbox that earn more than 1.5 BTC per day. His earning was mostly from refferals so that you can copy him, earn refferals on faucet sites and you can earn a good profit. Good luck Smiley

This topic is 3 years old, and i suppose rewards were much higher than they are today.
My question is how much time are you wasting every day and how much money do you earn per month from faucets?
