Try buying smaller ($100 or so) at a time every couple weeks/month.  Putting one lump sum in will make it harder to hold and wont cost average

This is what I do.

You should have no burden finacially if BTC goes to zero or you are doing it wrong.

Well a loss is still a loss, but if you cant afford to lose money, you shouldn't even be thinking about investing yet.  A security fund that would last a few months, and optimally paying off credit cards, etc, should be done FIRST and FOREMOST!  Then "invest" in bitcoins, although its more of a "gamble" at the moment for most

You should have no burden finacially if the dollar goes to zero, or you are doing it wrong.

Fixed that for you. The dollar is a 90 year old man on life-support, a zombie-currency. Bitcoin is a rapidly developing infant full of vitality.

Some fear that the 90 year old man will get up out of his hospital bed to strangle the infant, but this is not possible. His legs have already rotted away, his arms are skin and bones.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

If BTC does explode then 5 years is nothing.
Relax & keep hold of your coins.

If you were waiting to the moon, then you were doing it wrong in the first place.

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.

Sorry, nobody cares.

Sorry, you leaving BTC won't affect the system, or all those that are/will prosper.

Bye, don't let your BTC wallet slap you in the face on the way out.

You need to go back 100% to fiat. Maybe a mutual fund or government bonds.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

Read the Satoshi White Paper again, ask forgiveness to Satoshi (PBUH) and repent your sins for questioning the future of bitcoin.

Bitcoin isn't a "get rich quick" scheme.

Somebody else said it first, but no, it's a "get rich slow" scheme.

The quote as I remember it was a "get rich not so quick" scheme Smiley
Anyways you will get richer than normal investing (or lose it all Tongue)

Don't count your chicks before they hatch.

Anyone investing in BTC right now expecting their investment to increase exponentially in value, should also consider other alternative outcomes at the very least.

For most who have "invested" in 2014, it's been a get poor quick scheme Undecided
