Australian Police Seize Bitcoin ATM in $2.6 Million Drug Bust

Australian police have raided a Brisbane coffee shop with ties to a biker gang, seizing a bitcoin ATM in the process.

Police suspected the gang, which goes by the name of the Bandidos, was involved in high-level drug trafficking – allegedly trafficking meth and cocaine, as well as dealing in controlled substances used in the production of certain drugs

Wow, I just found this link ( http://www.news-mail.com.au/news/bitcoin-atm-owner-and-suspected-bikies-arrested-ra/2422968/ ) you posted and I found it distressing. It is not at all your fault and I am actually glad you posted it. Bringing it to our attention. Now myself and my company will take legal action for such a libellous untrue story. There was a lot of miss reporting that went on regarding our ATM that police seized examined and returned with apology. This story truly takes the cake for poor research and has spurred me to act, I just can't take anymore. Talk about media doing zero due diligence. No one from Bit2Bit was ever charged or even questioned in regards this matter. The ATM was returned and after some repairs it is now located at POSOZ # 123 Melbourne St, South Brisbane and is once again happily serving the digital currency community of Brisbane buying and selling Bitcoin,Litecoin and Dogecoin. That was a really hard time for our company, obviously if we had any idea of the alleged criminal activity and I stress alleged, because I don't want to insinuate that anyone who has not had there day in court and chance to defend themselves has done anything wrong. However if we had any indication we would never ever have placed the ATM there. We just thought it was a great cafe. Like the rest of Brisbane.

As you posted it, I wanted to make you aware of the truth and to let you know that what you had posted was not at all true.

Regards, The team at Bit2Bit.
