Elon Musk Speaks About Tesla and SpaceX at Vanity Fair’s New Establishment Summit

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPsHN1KyRQ8&feature=youtu.be&t=31m6s

not the best video, too much stutter  Undecided
i also think he does not know enough about BTC

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

He made a couple comments about Bitcoin at 33:40.

Paraphrasing ...

Bitcoin is a good thing. It will be used primarily for illegal transactions, but that is not necessarily bad. I own no Bitcoins.

Well, He might change his mind, if someone want to pay him in BTC

I just wonder what kind of banking fees these guys have per month. I guess if you have that kind of money to play with rockets, banking fees are the least of your worries.

Most of the rich people, pay no banking fees anyways. {At my Fiat bank, you pay NO banking fees, if you keep your balance above a certain amount, but you get nearly NO interest too}

Money transfer, will be another matter entirely and this is where the crux of difference will come into play.  Cheesy

Well I think he's right as that's what it was mainly used for initially, but we all know it's growing away from that side. I would like to know what percentage of transactions are used on the dark market compared to legit merchants, though.
