my story is the worst: first i heard about Bitcoin when it worth nothing maybe something below 50$ (don't remember exactly) i was too lazy to pursue and read more about it then about a year ago one of my close friends started mining Bitcoins. he bought hardware and everything (this is around the time when the price was around 1000$) and again i was Busy with other stuff and a bit lazy to go after bitcoins, he earn huge profits from his work and now after the dust is settled i am here now i wish i can see glorious days if bitcoin to come

I believe it's conception was '96-'98.. and the block chain is not THE definative blockchain, for there was a time the blockchain website, which is only a copy, did not exist, whilst bitcoin's were being given away free the way it should be, starting at 1 per hour, that went down to 0.5 per hour, I left the net for a while, came back, and suddenly I gotta download some blockchain crap, which does not have my first 3 address's, or my kid's wallet address's in it, because they were created before the current blockchain. Beat that.. when I joined here, I was already 2 years mining.
Edit, seems I am forgetting what century I'm in, make those years after the end of the 90's pmsl...
But yup, '96-98 had something to do with bitcoin's creation..
I'll have whatever he's having. We'll share with dank!

I saw it on a gaming forum, in the offtopic subforum. Usually the best places on forums to find random interesting stuff .

I heard it from some sensationalized news site about that guy who bought a pizza for bitcoins worth a shit ton of money now. To see that thread still being bumped makes me happy.

I'll have whatever he's having. LOL. I think he's having some dementia with a hefty dose of megalomania. My friend told me about Bitcoin a year ago, almost to the day.

I read news article back in summer of 2012 and I had no idea what the article was talking about. Never thought about twice until fall/winter of 2013. I wish I could of bought some when it was cheap 1998, started collecting them for free in 2003, collected 310, all in, I have only in total, 162 left. lol, you confused Bitcoin with Watoshicoin . You got people confused. I only have a few watoshis left,... Lucky you.

People were tipping with it early in 2013 on reddit and I always took it as fake money. Don't remember what caused me to pursue it further but one of the first results for Bitcoin questions was always this forum

I'm a forumer from recently ago (it's that phase now I guess), so I found it out relatively easy, through internet research. Awesome forum, lots of active forumers and interesting topics. Thumbs up
