I figured out how we could invent smellovision! Have a special TV that has a perfume cartridge that can be refilled cheap that contains 30-100 scents that can be combined to make any smell triggered by either sounds or code embedded in the video, then it dispenses like a perfume bottle or something! lol

I think is bad idea. How you will know that your food is burning in kitchen if you will get different not burning smells in living room?

I think that for this idea to be effectively implemented, it should be done in a dedicated room, so that we don't start confusing TV smells from real-life smells.
