At any case, for this prediction game, you can pick any score that you like, even if it was already picked by someone else, so you shouldn't be affected much by other members.
The only drawback is that if there are multiple winners they will share the prize, but this is quite rare.
I think that's bad idea, 10mbtc is not that much to share among more people anyway, first one to guess the right result should get all imo.

We will see how often a 10 mBTC prize will be shared. We believe it will be rare, but if we see it happens frequently we will look into changing it.
The reason that for this prediction game we currently let members pick a score that was already picked by someone else is that several members in our Soccer Prediction Game said it is time consuming for them to go over all the scores and see which scores were already picked.
We will see how it goes for Ice Hockey and of course update if we decide to change it in the future.
