Maybe you were refering to a 0.5BTC coin and not a 1 BTC coin? Like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Casascius-0-5-BTC-2013-Series-2-brass-Physical-Bitcoin-/291271854152

Looking for some coins like the one I am selling I have only found this two:

Selling for more than 6 BTC ($2400!!!): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-BTC-2012-Casascius-Bitcoin-Series-2-Fully-Loaded-Rare-Physical-Currency-Look-/251685726521

Selling for more than 2 BTC ($900): http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Casascius-1-BTC-Collectors-Token-Physical-Bit-coin-Fully-Loaded-/171492079885

$ prices are irrelevant and make no sense.

Narrow your ebay search to only include completed auctions where the item has sold, and you'll see that it's all lowball prices on brass coins, most of which are fairly obvious fake bids in a failed attempt to make it seem like the sellers are going through huge quantities of coins.

I doubt very many legitimate Casascius deals happen through ebay.

No longer buying/selling Casascius coins. Beware scammers.

I agree with you, that is why I basically ignored ebay when setting the price, and basically searched for previous deals here in the forum.

I can vouch....  I tried to bid on it using BidSip, but my password was wrong, so I missed out.  I believe it was actually graded too???

I tried selling a few Casascius coins on ebay. Most of them received fake bids. Since you can't leave negative feedback on an incomplete auction, you have to choose between leaving bad feedback and getting your 10% final value fee refunded. Total waste of time from a selling perspective too Smiley

No longer buying/selling Casascius coins. Beware scammers.

Yesterday a 2013 graded Casascius went for 1.22BTC.  The Casascius market is slow right now...great time to be buying, but selling is rough.

Since this one is ungraded, I willing to bid 1.25BTC if OP wants to lower the starting bid.

Aye

Great time for buyin'

Especially when you figure the lower cost of BTC/Fiat conversion right now.

Thanks for the offer, but I am not interested. I would rather keep the coin than sell it for that price.
