Hi,
I have lost my password for my main account on bitcointalk.org . The password was long and stored in a password storage application. The email on the account is inaccessible now as I used a temporary email at the time of sign up. Can any admin change the email on the account to allow me to recover the password. I can prove the account is mine as I know the jist of the content of various messages in my inbox.

That's not very convincing proof. Could be that you got a look at someone's computer, and want to use their rep to run a scam. Not saying you are, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Only thing left for proof besides that is IPs, and that's unlikely and still isn't good proof(could be a housemate/wife/husband/coffee table).
