If you like to download software, movies, audio from upload sites or E mails probably your computer is mining BTC for the hacker, modern antivirus software could not help - if hacker soft is not wide spread  Grin

Only ASICS can mine Bitcoin.  CPU is far too weak to mine even pennies at the current difficulty.  Everyone knows this.

Not necessarily bitcoin. It can be any other altcoins which can cpu mine and then exchange for bitcoin. Op still has a point. We have seen new computers preinstalled with miner so why not in cracked software.

Yes, this is completely correct. Although you're more likely to just have some generic RAT like blackshades or jSpy installed than a miner, this is still possible.

If the fans in people's computers started making a lot of noise I am sure they'd notice .... even without any antivirus software.

now,  i know that the  existing antivirus software can not help to find the virus which mining BTC for hacker. so  some time we can find it through the abnormal process!

There are viruses which are hard to detect, they mine only when inactivity is detected and they hide their process from the task manager. There are more useful things to do on botnets than mining worthless alt coins and mining bitcoin slowly. You wouldn't profit a lot unless you have a huge botnet and the infected host don't detect your mining activity.

how could they mine if i already mine myself?

I think people that dont realize that their computer is used as a bot army to mine, deserve that. How you cant sense slowness if big part of your CPU is used?

Not only that but CPU/GPU mining is horribly inefficient (using a computer to mine) when compared to what an ASIC can produce.

For example a 1 TH ASIC will produce ~.014 BTC per day (or roughly $5.51 per day). By comparison your average laptop computer will be able to mine at a rate of ~20 kh/s. You would need 50 of these computers to mine at 1 mh/s. You would need 1,000 mh/s in order to equal one gh/s (so far you need 50,000 computers to mine 1 gh/s). You would need 1,000 gh/s in order to mine at a rate of 1 th/s. This works out to 50,000,000 computers that can mine at a rate of 20 kh/s each in order to make ~$5.50 per day. Do you really think this would be worth a hacker's time? I certainly do not
