I'm not really familiar with LTC Gear's way of business, so I have a few questions:
1. Those are only for Scrypt mining?
2. You can easily transfer them to someone else's account?
3. If you want to sell them, there is no dedicated marketplace, but you have to do it on your own?
4. I saw on LTC Gear website that they increase your speed by x1.35 every month and a half - is that true?
5. What would be a daily/weekly payout on say 500 shares?

10MH is 100 shares. That means you would get 100x0.01955602 LTC = 1.95 LTC last week.

No you do not get to access them. You simply use the shares and pick how you want to get paid (btc,ftc,ltc,etc). Its a simple display almost like a stock where you get paid dividends but do not see behind the operations

Huh, could you guys explain why is it important how old they are? I bought some, but don't know how this age influences anything...

I think someone noticed that some of the payouts were coming from clevermining, but we cannot choose how the hash power is being used. It is more of a theoretical amount of hash power mining Litecoin that determines the payout. In reality, I assume LTCgear is mining much more profitable scrypt IPOs, multicoin pools, etc. to subsidize the costs of mining. I'm at 75% towards ROI since mid-September and just added a few more shares from Coinographic.
