Lets assume for a second, for argument sake, that you have some valid reason not to disclose anything about your mining operation until February. Here is what you could do to gain some level of trust: put a non trivial amount of bitcoins in escrow, only to be released back to you when you have proven beyond reasonable doubt your mining operation. And to be used to refund victims if you decide to run come March.
You claim to run a 3MW datacenter. Thats at least 4-5PH. Surely you could afford to put a few 100BTC in escrow for a few months?

Yes, we could. But that would be taking it a little too far, only for argument's sake.
Until we can do good on our promise, everyone is, of course, free to make their own informed decision.

+1. That could remove people's unnecessary thinking atleast till February. You may get your reputation back too. Yes, we could. But that would be taking it a little too far, only for argument's sake.

Even if you can't put 100 BTC now, it would be good to put >=40 BTC which can fulfill all the miners for some weeks. ~~MZ~~

We are keeping everything low-key for now, until February, when we will be able to shed some light on our operation and clear everything up.
So why won't you even show a single mined bitcoin? Is February when you hope you'll have some equipment to mine with?

Why? @op, I have a suggestion. It probably won'tincrease your rep, but it will provide some proof that you own a bit coin mining farm. Go on a pool with stats that tracks its top miners, like BTC guild, mine there for a while. Then we'll at least know that youdo have bitcoin miners. Cheers, Monbux

Only we already mention on our website that the mine is located on an industrial estate in mainland Europe. The company address in London is for legal purposes only. But I get it that's more exciting to "uncover stuff" than read all we have to say first. I repeat, right now we are managing a private mine, of which we only own part. We cannot point just our share of the mining power to a public pool, as our contract is quite rigid and does not allow for this. But come February, we will no longer be under contract and will be able to do whatever we see as reasonable, which includes many of your proposals. Thank you.

Hello folks. It seems the website is under ddos attack. No need to worry, we will be migrating to a more secure server tonight. I chose the bahnhof.net hosting personally, because I liked what they stand for and the fact that they are promoting libertarian principles. But.. that does not protect against attacks. Anyway, the mining operation is not affected and no data will be lost during the migration. It's going to be a few more hours and everything will be back to normal, on a hardware shielded server. We thought cloudflare protection was enough, but apparently not.

Ok. Good luck with migration. Let us know when everything will be back on truck..

Ok, things almost taken care of. Site is back up, with better protection this time. Secure SSL connections are not available yet, so you won't be able to log in just yet. We'll get this sorted in a bit.
The DDoS attack was performed by DD4BC, a group of bored underprivileged children, I assume. They take advantage of the fact that most websites use cloudflare for convenience and they manage to find the direct server IP address, which they then attack. We have switched to incapsula, who emphasize ddos mitigation and protection much more than cloudflare.
So be careful anyone using cloudflare. Not really much protection if your server's ip can be found so easily.
