You need to create a Deepbit worker and then append the worker number to your email address as the username.

Also, I recommend you use a pool other than Deepbit, simply because of the fees they charge.

you should just use one of these pools that are free and support merged mining

because otherwise you'd be running namecoind and bitcoind while you run the run_p2pool.exe to merge mine and that's extra stuff you have to deal with

1. Download CGMiner: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/cgminer-2.4.2-win32.zip
2. Unzip it to a folder
3. Open notepad
4. Type in
Code:
C:\yourdirectory\cgminer.exe -l 2 -g 2 -w 128 -I 7 --auto-fan -o http://p2pmining.com:9332 -O yourbitcoinaddress:x
Where yourbitcoinaddress is the address you want to receive payments to. If you do this you will be mining with P2Pool and will automatically get paid after amassing 0.5 BTC.

Is this what you did?:

Try cd'ing from the command line into the folder with DiabloMiner in it. So:

1.) Download Diablo Miner
2.) Extract to folder in "Downloads"
3.) Start>cmd>Enter>Command Prompt Window Comes up
4.) Type "cd " (with the space) then drag the DiabloMiner folder over the Command Prompt. Press enter.
5.) Type in your
Code:
DiabloMiner-Windows.exe -u example@example.com -p password -o pit.deepbit.net -r 8332 -v 2 -w 128 AGGRESSION = 13
6.) Press enter

Did that work/make sense? If not I'd be happy to make a video tutorial of it... Smiley
