Step 1: List where you are on the spectrum   Permabear-> Long Bear -> Short Bear -> Neutral -> Short Bull -> Long Bull ->Permabull

Step 2: Then list what change you think is needed to increase buying.

Or just answer the poll.

Time alone does not let new money flow into the system. We need people to actually get off their ass and use/promote bitcoin the way it's suppose to be used! Not by buying a couple thousand dollars worth and throwing it on a paper wallet like a lotto ticket so hopefully you get rich quick... That's what kills btc  Embarrassed

I'm not sure cheaper bitcoins would bring more of the general population into bitcoin. Usually the masses gain interest when price is going up, and spread FUD (and stay away) when prices are going down.

Time.  A lot of really smart people are building a lot of really cool infrastructure for Bitcoin.

I voted for the ETF. I think were all buying when prices hit ATLs, but we are not buying enough. We need huge injection from Wall St investors. The ETF might do just that. I was hoping for a overwhelming demand for the ETF that issuer has to buy more from the exchanges to issue more shares.

A new approach to the situation. Right now it's too myopic - new things are coming.

Every day that Bitcoin continues operating is another nail in the coffin of the "it will never work" or "it's just a fad" arguments.

We have to wait only the opening of the bitcoin etf of winklevoss (if I'm not wrong, ETF will be called Winklevoss Trust). Then, after that event, volume will increase so much.

Neutral.

I am worried about the possibility of corruption by the Chinese (and even other) exchanges.  If they can just add coins to their trading accounts I don't see how bitcoin can go up in value much.  I guess, maybe they add RMB to their accounts to buy?

Having to admit to the possibility of a fair amount of corruption has really sapped my excitement for bitcoin.  I'm not too optimistic until either the exchanges are audited, exposed as frauds, China "bans" bitcoin yet again, or the exchanges start to charge a small fee to cover their costs - I don't see how bitcoin rallies much.

Hopefully, I'm wrong, I have a crappy record, I thought it would do really well after the US Marshall's sale. Grin

Good Luck!
