Web service for printing your full color images on land

Hi!

My virtual friends came up with idea of a service that allows printing large images on the ground (so that they can be seen from space). Do you think it is a good business idea or not? This service is not directly related to bitcoins, but I'll try to convince them to use bitcoins.

It's a neat idea, to be sure. What does 1 sq. foot look like from space (just how visible would the images be?). I personally wouldn't use it, but I feel like there are lots of people who would (proposals anyone? Nevermind the jumbo-tron).

Hi! Probably there would be a dedicated area to print images. Maybe somewhat similar to milliondollarhomepage.com , but on land. So you don't need to have your own land.

This could be an option. Though I think it would be more expensive and probably it would be more difficult to organize taking the bird-eye/satellite images of it.
