I'd really like to stress this point again:

For anonymity purposes (making it harder to trace coins), I'd say it's better if all scrambling is done through one common address.

And also, to further increase anonymity, you might want to consider restricting the amount of coins to be scrambled to powers of 2.

If I send 173.54 BTC to your address, which is probably quite a "unique" amount, and then you send (1-0.009) times that to another address, someone might still kinda recognize it.
If I send 128 BTC to your address, along with lots of other people, you would send just as many payments of 126.848 out to other addresses, and nobody can tell one address from another anymore (thus not distinguishing anyone in particular).

This is a great idea, perhaps to enhance the ease of use you could have a series of set amounts you could send like 1, 15, 75 and 200 so all the incoming would be just those amounts and outgoing amounts would be those, minus 0.9%

If I scramble some coins through your website now, and I do it again next month (with different 'dirty' and 'clean' addresses), can I be sure there is no chance I am receiving my previously 'dirty' coins from last time?

Of course, I receive 'dirty' coins in a different wallet, which is never used for outgoing transactions.

On another note, just processed 1st real scramble request. If whoever took a leap of faith to see if I'm trustworthy wouldn't minding vouching for my service, it'd be greatly appreciated.

How do you use instawallet or easywallet to turn your current 'dirty' coins into new ones that can't be traced back to your current address?

Exactly what advantage do you gain with this?

Once you want to spend the coins from your private wallet, people can still see they originate from instawallet 2, back to instawallet 1, back to whatever they originally came from. Coins still dirty.

The idea is to somehow swap the coins you currently have on address A, for other coins on address B that cannot be traced back to A. No chain of transactions should exist between A and B.

Hmm, doesn't seem to offer any real protection.

This allows the service to be used anonymously, without needing even an e-mail address.

Seems kinda bollocks to me, as an email address is not required to use Bitcoin AT ALL. Maybe for some 3rd party wallet websites might require users to register an account with them, but this is completely independent of Bitcoin itself.

Also, when you pay from your local (or any) wallet to instawallet 1, instawallet 2, to some other address X, anyone can simply trace back the coins in X coming from 2, from 1, and back to original local wallet. This is not a shortcoming of instawallet, but just a corollary of the way Bitcoin works. So no, instawallet doesn't help in any way here.

Thats not correct! The coins in x dont come from 2. > dont come from 1. They are mixed on the way. I made a test transaction to check this. You could also ask the guys from instawallet here in the forum.

I tried it: I sent some bitcoins from my 'dirty' address X to instawallet A, from A to instawallet B, and from B to my 'clean' address Y.

Indeed, the transfer to B did not come from A (I guess the site uses some kind of intermediate coin caching system). But strangely enough, when I sent some coins from B to Y, they came from A!

So, the coins in Y can be traced back to A, back to X, and thus they're still dirty...

As of now the requests are limited and I have a system established !
