How much would you offer for a hero account, just recently reached 500 level status and has over 1200 posts to date. A very active member of the community.

Gaging interest here. Somewhat of an auction, if a bid comes in high enough I'll definitely sell it.

I hope that you all realize (for those of you that are serious) that the consequences for not selling if the price is not high enough for the OP is nothing. With a traditional auction you can give neg trust to the account but that would be pointless in this case as the only reason this account was created was to sell his hero account.

I'm betting his minimum is 2 btc just because of the rank and tenure of the account. No way is he going to sell it for .1. This is only going to benefit him because, as you say, it is not a traditional auction in which you have a minimum price and increment increase; It is straight up to the highest bidder that hits his price mark.

thst is my point. he did not list any kind of min price that he will sell for nor has he attempted to make bidders know there is one. If he decides not to sell then nothing will happen to him.

If he is auctioning his account it probably means that he needs money quickly so he may be willing to accept a lower price in exchange for selling it quickly.

Definitely would be at least 1 BTC for the account. Took 1.5+ years to get. The account has mixed but still overall neutral trust, there are a couple complaints but many more positives in number.  Well known in the community. Overall, trust rating is still 0 despite the couple negatives so it doesn't have the "trade with extreme caution" next to it.

I am indeed only looking for offers at this time. When I say at least 1 BTC, I don't mean make me an offer for 1 BTC and I'll take it...if in 3 months that was highest offer then yes I'd probably take it.

PM with offers or post here. Thank you.

Doesn't it also defeat the object of the account being your trust is then being transferred to a third party to 'do as they will'

Are you not morally worried the account will be used for scamming?

Would offer 0.1 BTC. Not sure if other bids are serious.
