Essentially you can open an account and post a job and have many brilliant freelancers bid on it, once you award it to a freelancer and he accepts you can then create milestones to put BTC in escrow, all the BTC on site is hedged against USD to prevent any loss for the freelancers.

Once the milestone is released the freelancer can freely withdraw his BTC, if any issues arise you can always dispute the milestone and have our team review all the work etc and make a ruling.
