Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I know Smiley I want to get it as a collectors piece, and fire it up sometimes. I'm not looking to make a fortune from it.

Good luck but most sellers will not apreciate your collective interest and will still want BTC...
