Now what has probably happened is that PP found out you were dealing in Bitcoins and so they have "come after you".

First, please tell me how many charge backs YOU recieved during the operation of your business.  By that I mean before this shitstorm how many times, when you SOLD BTC did you get a chargeback (loss) in your business?
I had the same guy charge me back about 4-5 times on purchases he made all at once when I ran minibits, the recently another guy opened up a case and I had another problem with someone fro cananda. I had to refund the first scammer the first time and now the other ones were pretty recent.

Well that being said I won't request scammer tag yet.  Don't rush, figure it out, and repay me (and others) in full and it won't reflect bad on you.
Crap this is why I never accept PP.  I broke my rule and look what happens.
I can't pay you guys back it says waiting on other party for some. What's your paypal name?

Next I need to know exactly what happened today.  How many of us that SOLD you BTC are under investigation.  That is our transactions have been place on hold.  I know about me and DeathAndTaxes, how many others are there?
A lot, I am am very sorry for this. Everyone who has been a good buyer and seller really doesn't deserve all this. I am not sure of all my sellers names but its' a lot.

By this I do not mean how many transactions I mean how many different PEOPLE that sold you BTC have had their transactions reversed.

Does anyone have any actual real world experience in this situation?  I believe PP found out TheBitMan was dealing BTC as a business and has swooped in to shut him down.

TheBitMan,  has any of your 10 suppliers answered the PP email yet?  I believe you may be able to see a difference in the status.  Like yes the seller has responded to their inquiry.
nothing yet, this might be a stupid questions but do you think everyone at paypal is aware that bitcoin is against the tos?

Since the payments were sent as gifts/personal payment I am responding as "none of the above".  I see this as a personal debt between me & TheBitMan.

I also agree with BurtW.  I would prefer repayment of the $190 via BTC or some non-PayPal method.
someone else i sold to calle paypal abd they said all i have to do is verify it was a gift and you can get your money..

All they want to do is verify your account. You're not even paypal verified. Just get verified and tell them they were a gift. Of course they'd want ID. Tell em you have no business.
